Classic potentiometer sticks wear out and start to "drift" — your character walks off on its own, the camera creeps. Instead of coming back with the same fault in six months, we swap the sticks for magnetic Hall Effect or the newest TMR sensors, which read movement without physical contact — drift is eliminated at the source. Yes, drift is our most common repair. We can replace the stick with a new potentiometer or — what we recommend — upgrade it to a magnetic Hall Effect or TMR sensor, after which drift won't come back. We finish every swap with calibration.
Both are magnetic sensors that read the stick's movement without physical contact — so they don't wear out and don't drift. TMR (tunnel magnetoresistance) is the newest generation: even higher sensitivity and accuracy than Hall, with lower power draw.
Controller repair starts from PLN 90. A standard analog stick replacement is from PLN 100 per piece (an original pad usually needs both), and a set of magnetic TMR or Hall Effect sticks with calibration is from PLN 160 per pair.
