Most graphics card failures come down to a handful of typical causes. Below are the most common symptoms and what usually lies behind them. We don't guess — we confirm the cause with a free diagnosis before giving you a price.
Artifacts, stuttering image
Common causes: damaged VRAM (GDDR6/GDDR6X), an overheating core, an unstable power section, a bad vBIOS.
Usually fixed by VRAM memory replacement or power-section repair.
Overheating, throttling, loud fans
Common causes: dried-out thermal paste, worn thermal pads, a clogged heatsink, a fan that won't spin or a seized bearing.

Coil whine or buzzing card
Common causes: coil vibration under load, sometimes a power-section or fan fault — rattles and odd noises.

For a serious fault most shops say "it can't be done" and suggest a new card. We go down to the core, the memory and the power section — BGA reballing, 12VHPWR connector replacement and VRAM memory swaps are an everyday job for us.
GPU core reballing
Desoldering and re-seating the chip with fresh solder balls. A lifesaver for Code 43 and image loss caused by cold solder joints on the core.
BGA chip replacement
Replacing a damaged core or bridge chip on a BGA rework station with a controlled temperature profile — safely for the neighbouring components.
12VHPWR / 16-pin connector swap
Melted or loose 16-pin / 12V-2x6 power connector (the well-known RTX 4090 and 40/50-series fault). We fit a new one and check the power section.
VRAM replacement (GDDR6/GDDR6X)
Artifacts, Code 43 or no image from a damaged memory chip. We locate the faulty IC and replace it with a working one.
Power section (VRM) repair
Shorts, burnt-out MOSFETs and chokes, a "banana" (warped board). We rebuild the power section so the card holds voltages under load again.
Repair after liquid and short circuit
Cleaning, short-circuit tracing and trace rebuilding after a power surge, a spill or "smoke from the card". We save what others write off.

We match the thermal material to the specific core and memory — from phase-change materials, through thermal pads for the VRAM and power section, to liquid metal where it's safe. Is the diagnosis paid, and how long does it take?
The standard diagnosis is free and usually takes up to 5 working days. If you're in a hurry, we offer an express 24-hour diagnosis for 250 PLN. Either way, we always give you the repair price before we start.
Do you do reballing and BGA chip replacement?
Yes — we perform GPU core reballing and BGA chip replacement on a rework station with a controlled temperature profile. It's a frequent fix for Code 43 and image loss caused by cold solder joints.
Do you repair a melted 12VHPWR connector (RTX 4090/40-series)?
Yes. We replace a melted or damaged 12VHPWR / 16-pin / 12V-2x6 connector — a well-known fault on RTX 4090 and 40/50-series cards. We also check the power section so the problem doesn't come back.
Do you replace VRAM (GDDR6/GDDR6X)?
Yes. With artifacts, Code 43 or no image from a damaged memory chip we locate and replace the faulty VRAM IC (GDDR6/GDDR6X) with a working one.
Is it worth repairing a graphics card?
Usually yes — a repair typically costs a fraction of a new card. After the free diagnosis we'll tell you honestly whether it's worth it. If a repair isn't worth it, we'll advise against it rather than push you into costs (our reviews confirm this).
What paste and thermal pads do you use?
By default we use the phase-change material (PCM) Honeywell PTM7950 / PTM7958 — it's not ordinary paste (we keep it in stock and replace it on the spot) — plus thermal pads matched to the VRAM and power section. Premium pastes and liquid metal are ordered on request. More in the cooling section.
Do you provide a warranty on the repair?
Yes — every repair comes with a 12-month warranty on the replaced parts and the work done. We issue a VAT invoice, for businesses too.
The card whines or buzzes (coil whine) — can it be fixed?
We diagnose the source of the noise. Sometimes it's coil vibration under heavy load, sometimes a power-section or fan fault. After checking it we'll tell you whether and how it can be reduced.
How do I send a card from another city?
Order a DPD courier (20 PLN one way) — it will collect the card from your door the next business day. You can also drop it at an InPost parcel locker WAW47A. After the free diagnosis we call you with a quote, and after the repair we send it back with a warranty. Order a courier online.
Do you repair cards after liquid, a short circuit or "smoke"?
Yes. After diagnosing the power section we clean the board, trace the short circuit and rebuild the damaged traces or components. We often save cards that other shops have written off.
Do you service the latest RTX 50, Radeon RX 9000 and Intel Arc?
