We repair the Xbox consoles others won't touch
HDMI port replacement and BGA reballing are microsoldering under a microscope — a skill most repair shops don't offer. For us it's everyday work.
HDMI port replacement
The most common serious fault on the Xbox Series X/S and One — a bent or broken connector ends in no picture. We replace the port with microsoldering, check the signal path and test the image at several resolutions.
APU and GPU reballing (BGA)
Cracked solder balls under a chip are the classic red ring on the Xbox 360 and image dropouts on newer consoles. We remove the chip, replace the BGA balls and re-mount it — instead of swapping the whole motherboard.
UHD Blu-ray drive repair
Console won't read discs or the drive is noisy? We replace the laser or drive mechanism on the Xbox Series X and One — keeping the factory pairing between the drive board and the console, with no loss of function.
Power, shorts and liquid damage
A console after a surge, a storm or a spill goes onto our bench for motherboard diagnostics: ultrasonic cleaning, corrosion removal, power-section repair and replacement of damaged components.

How much does an Xbox repair cost?
It depends on the model and the fault, which is why the diagnosis and quote are free. Do you replace the HDMI port in the Xbox Series X and Xbox One?
Yes — it's one of the most common serious Xbox repairs. We replace a bent or broken HDMI connector by microsoldering, check the signal path and test the image before handing the console back. It usually takes 1–3 business days.
The Xbox Series X won't turn on or clicks and dies — what does that mean?
Most often it's a fault in the power section — the internal PSU or a short on the motherboard, e.g. after a surge. A free diagnosis pinpoints the exact cause before we quote.
The Xbox won't read discs — can it be fixed?
Yes. On the Xbox Series X and Xbox One we replace the laser or the UHD Blu-ray drive mechanism — keeping the factory pairing between the drive board and the console, so everything works as before. Usually 3–7 business days.
Do you repair the red ring of death on the Xbox 360 (the E74 error)?
Yes — we still service the Xbox 360. The red ring (RROD) and the E74 error are usually cracked BGA joints under the graphics chip. We do GPU and chip reballing — replacing the solder balls under the chip — a lasting repair, not a temporary heat-gun trick.
Do you do motherboard repair and APU reballing?
Yes — we repair console motherboards at chip level: microsoldering, APU and GPU reballing, power-section repair and replacement of damaged components. It's the same skill we use to repair motherboards in our computer repair service.
The Xbox overheats and runs loud — what helps?
Usually a dust clean and thermal paste replacement (repaste) is enough — over the years the paste dries out and the heatsink clogs with dust, so the console gets loud and shuts down mid-game. After the repair we test the console under load.
My Xbox or Elite Series 2 controller has drift — do you fix it?
Yes — we repair Xbox and Elite Series 2 controllers: stick drift, buttons, triggers, pairing issues. We also fit Hall Effect and TMR sticks that are immune to drift. Details and pricing are on our controller repair page.
How do I send an Xbox for repair from another city?
The easiest way is to order a courier online — we collect the console from your door by DPD courier (PLN 20 one way, PLN 40 round trip, paid on collection). You can also drop a parcel at the InPost locker WAW47A or send it to the service address. After a free diagnosis we call with a quote — we repair once you approve it and send it back with a warranty.
